Laura Facchin – vocals

Laura Facchin started her music career when, at the age of 12, she wowed almost twenty people with a rousing soprano rendition of “Happy Birthday” at a local community theater audition. Encouraged by two generous arts patrons (her parents), Laura was able to start formal classical vocal and piano training and continued to sing in various musicals and light opera productions until she graduated high school and discovered rock. Since then, she’s been schooling herself in the ways of the non-classical with the help of bandmate and husband Tim, and has built up quite a propensity for rocking out. Laura brings strong vocals and a high-energy stage presence with her to What’s in This Juice?.

Tim Facchin – guitar

Tim Facchin has been playing the guitar since he was 13 years old. After taking two years of classical fingerstyle lessons, he branched out into many other styles. In that time he has played with several bands such as Tim & Jay, Check 21, The Commonwealth/Luck Wins Out, Killtacular! and Laura and Tim Present…, as well as a few other side projects. It has been a goal of his to play in a ska band for years and he is excited to finally have the opportunity to bring his unique playing style to this latest iteration of the genre.

Dan Goodwin – bass

Dan has spent most of his musical career as a die hard guitar player, until one day he was abducted by two hip space aliens and taken back to a crazy funkadelic planet in the ‘Galaxy of Groove’. There he learned the secrets of the bass and returned to earth to join What’s in this Juice?. Dan is excited to bring his extraterrestrial style to the band and is looking forward to creating a sound that’s out of this world.

Jeff Spengler – trombone

Jeff Spengler a.k.a. “Spanky”, has been playing trombone for 17 years. He has played in various bands with the Arlington School District (wind ensemble, symphonic orchestra, jazz band, brass choir, pit orchestra, and marching band). In 1999 he was accepted to play in the conference all-state symphony band and later that year accompanied Arlington’s Touring orchestra, playing in Australia, New Zealand, Rouratounga, and Tahiti. He also played in the Dutchess Community Jazz Band from 2000-2002 and in the Binghamton University Pep Band from 2003-2006. Recently he was invited back to play with the Pep Band for the 2009 American East Men’s Tournaments final game. Now after years of waiting he is excited to take on the challenge of writing and playing with a ska band.

Andrew Sanfratello – trumpet

Andrew has been playing trumpet since he was 9 years old and excelled immediately. Playing in numerous bands throughout his education at the Lakeland School District and Binghamton University, he found that he was able to have fun while making sweet, sweet music. At Binghamton, Andrew met Spanky in the pepband where their horn riffs would often entrance the crowds more than the basketball team (or so they thought). He is very excited to be performing with What’s in this Juice?.
